SCHOLARS CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Drew scholars are required to sign up for the Drew section of a required course (i.e. NSC, Math).
  2. Drew scholars are required to attend all enrolled classes, Concept Review Sessions, study sessions, and Tutorial Assistance in Chemistry (T.A.C.)sessions.
  3. Drew scholars are to be on time  and prepared for all classes.
  4. Drew scholars are not allowed to leave class early, unless dismissed by the instructor.
  5. Drew students will be advised academically by the Director and/or assigned Drew Advisor.
  6. Pre-Vet, Engineering and Nursing students will be advised by their respective advisors in those colleges, and the Director.
  7. Drew scholars will notify the Director of scheduling problems or conflicts in schedules as soon as they occur.
  8. Drew scholars are not allowed to continue in a sequenced Drew course with less than a 2.0 in the preceding Drew course.  The course must be repeated the next semester, unless otherwise special allowances are pre-approved by the Director.
  9. Drew scholars will contact tutors, teaching assistants, staff, or the Director IMMEDIATELY if experiencing academic difficulty in any course.
  10. Drew scholars will remain a Drew student for the duration of their program/plan of study.  If students decide to leave the Drew Laboratory before their plan of study is complete without prior approval, re-entry will not be allowed at a later date.
  11. Drew scholars are encouraged to maintain a positive attitude at all times.  Remember this is an ENRICHMENT program, not a remediation program.  The Laboratory’s only goal is to enhance your success as scholastic high achievers.
  12. Drew scholars must adhere to the honor code of truth, honesty, discipline and self-responsibility at all times.
  13. All students are required to live in the east complex (Holmes, Akers, Hubbard) to facilitate attendance in study session, unless otherwise special allowances are made.
